Episode Summary[]
Gumby has somehow developed a liking for eating, and he starts the day by eating almost all the cookies on his mother's kitchen table. Then he eats much of the sandwich Pokey pokey was eating for lunch, and steals one of the pies Mrs. Applebee left out to cool. Pokey warns Gumby that he'll be sorry he took that pie, but Gumby scoffs it off and takes a nap under a tree. With a full stomach, he falls asleep and dreams he's found himself in the clutches of a bipedal equine named "Mr. Stuff" (a man with a head like Pokey's but with a red mane and a chef's hat). He asks Gumby if he'd like to eat all the goodies he can have, and Gumby's face lights up with joy at the offer. Mr. Stuff is true to his word, using a conveyor belt to cram thousands of scoops of ice cream into Gumby's eagerly waiting mouth. After that, a tanker truck of soda pop is brought over and its contents is pumped into Gumby's stomach via hose, leaving Gumby all swollen and bloated; However, Mr. Stuff won't quit until Gumby is totally stuffed, next offering him a batch of hamburgers, followed by the threat of dessert. Gumby finally wakes up from his nightmare when Pokey tells him his mother's calling him home for dinner. But Gumby decides he may as well skip dinner this evening.

- This episode is loosely based on a 1937 Warner Bros. cartoon short, Pigs is Pigs, directed by Friz Freleng, starring the young Piggy that eats just about everything edible he gets his hands on, even stealing a neighbor's pie as Gumby did, and when he goes to sleep he has a similar nightmare Gumby had. But Piggy's dream ends in a violent manner when he explodes from eating a turkey drumstick, and among waking up he resumes his greedy mannerisms, compared to Gumby.
