Gumby vs. the Astrobots is a platformer game that was created for the Nintendo console GameBoy Advance in the year 2005. It was created by Namco, the same company who created PAC-MAN. It stars Gumby who needs help finding his friends who are trapped in several books.

Synopsis[]

Professor Kapp creates a remote control to utilize control over the Astrobots, but he gets grabbed by the Blockheads and traps him into a shed. The Blockheads, seizing control over the Astrobots, sends the mechanical men out and they attack Gumby's friends and family, who were having a picnic together. It is up to Gumby to save his friends & family!

Each member is separated from each other, running into a book to escape the robotic attackers:

· Pokey escaped into a book about the Wild West

· Prickle escaped into a book about the Frozen North

· Goo escaped into a book about the Transylvanian Mountains

· Minga escaped into a book about the African Savanna

· Gumbo and Gumba both escaped into a book about Castles and Wizards

Gumby has to go into the books and track down his friends to return them home safely while facing a wicked wizard, The Abominable Snowman, Count Dracula, and Ricochet Pete!

Throughout the game, Gumby has to collect Ice Cream Cones for bonus points, and grab slices of pie to recover health.

When he finds a green lollipop, Gumby gains the ability to morph and hover.

But he has to watch out for environmental dangers and the Astrobots themselves!
